The arts are:* Lee style Tai Chi * Feng Shou (Hand of the wind) kung fu * Kai Men (Chinese Yoga) *Tui Na (Massage) * Chi Shu / shuai jiao (Throwing) History of the lee styleThe Lee (Li) family arts were originally created by Ho-Hsieh Lee around 1000 BC. The family practised together with parents teaching their children for generations. The last decendent of the Lee family to pass on the family art was Chan Kam Lee.*Grandmaster Chan Kam Lee an unmarried businessman opened a small office in the Holborn district of London and in 1933 he started a small class in Red Lion Square to keep himself fit and taught a few close friends. A chance meeting in Hyde Park brought a fourteen-year- old boy, himself Chinese, into contact with Chan Lee. The two became friends and Chan Lee invited this boy to join his little group in Holborn. Having no children of his own Chan Kam Lee adopted the boy that boy was Chee Soo*Grandmaster Chee Soo was born of a Chinese father and an English mother, and as they died when he was only a very young child, he was brought up in a Barnardo's home.In the winter of 1953 - '54, Chan Lee died, off the coast of China, near Guangdong, when the ship that he was travelling in sank in a severe storm. In 1960?s Grandmaster Chee Soo formed the international wu shu association and taught classes all over the world. During the 1960s Chee Soo taught kung fu and T'ai Chi to Diana Rigg and Patrick MacNee on the set of the cult television series 'The Avengers'Chee Soo and his wife Marilyn Eventually moved to Ebbw Vale in South Wales to be near Marilyn's elderly mother where Chee Soo died in August 1994.
